The art of flyfishing, like anything worthwhile pursuing in life, is time consuming. I guess that's kind of the whole point.

Flyfishing encompasses the focal point of these journeys and hopefully inspire you through the photographic essays and commentary. The locations visited are ranked amongst some of the most naturally beautiful locations in the world.

Arranging a customised fishing expedition to most of the locations discussed within or any others is as easy as contacting me via email. Fly fishing need not be reserved for the well heeled. I'd be happy to get you started with advice on appropriate equipment, down to custom designing your trip to suit your experience level, budget and preferences. All of my "work" to date has been word of mouth and trips are limited.

In a world where commercial harvesting has cut deeply into the quality of saltwater sports fishing, the places visited stand untouched. If you guage a fishing trips success based on the body count I would encourage you to direct your enquiries to the mass marketed lodges. I subscribe to catch and release philosophies, other than with those we eat, and provide professional photos of the experience. : - )

Calling Savvy Investors

Hi All,

Change of pace here with this Blog.  I'm in fund raising mode.  Im calling for a select group of investors to partner with me on what I'm convinced is a unique opportunity.


Sizeable acreage abbuting 200 acre lake filled and stocked with fat trout has become available in Tasmania's Highlands.  Exclusive setting within a private securely fenced estate.  Power and phone at Lot boundaries. The vision was to create a world class brown trout fishery...and it's worthy of that title. 



10lb browns are mainstay. All catch and release other than with the rainbows which can be taken with limits applying per day per license. Each Lot comes with 3 licences and fishing is year round.

The most critical and impressive part of the contract is the novated agreement with neighbouring lakes to supply water to enable water levels to be maintained for purposes of providing consistent fishing and provide critical supply water for spawning fish.


Other world famous fisheries are within 20mins drive of this estate, if you ever get sick of the idea of catching 10lb bruisers from your veranda.  Fine dining is 20 mins up the road, 10 minutes to grocery stores and under an hour to world famous bush and mountain trekking.  9 hole golf course 15 mins away and tennis courts on property

I have all necessary contractual documentation to provide for your perusal.  Initial investment of $100,000 AUD will secure your Licence and rights to the allotment.  Final funding for Lodge/s development and construction will be conducted after land is secured with type and extent to be agreed between nominees.  This lends itself to timeshare opportunities which will offer some flexibility on final funding amounts.



Established neighbouring properties have sold recently in excess of $1.5M AUD.
